Hello. This is my attempt at a semi-professional website describing the work that I have been doing as a graduate student in Andrew Murray's lab at Harvard.

The purpose of my research is to understand the molecular basis of evolution. This requires an understanding of the parameters that determine the rate of adaptation such as mutation rate, population size, the distribution of mutational effects on fitness, and epistasis.

To this end I have spent the last few years trying to understand the mechanisms that set mutation rate, the degree to which mutation rate varies, and how mutation rate influences the rate of adaptation.
